Patty Jean, My Precious Daughter was born in Logan Hospital in WV, she weighted 3lbs. 10 1/2 ounces. She was transferred to Cable Huntington Hospital, spent 27 days,I brought her home when she weighed 4lbs. 3/4 ounces. She has been the joy in my life ever since. for 37 years she was with me.I prayed for God to let me bring her home from Cable Huntington one more time, it just was not to be.
She asked me one time if we had her Baptized when she was a baby, I told her no that was her decision to make so Sept.7th. 2014 She was Baptized at Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church By Brother Elbert Collins and her Uncle Bill Connolly. Also her daddy Jack Crum Helped, He got so wrapped up in helping her, he leaned over to wipe her face and nearly fell in. Patty was Intelligent , She finished High school and College, with Honors. She told me one time Mom, I wasn’t afraid when they told me i had the Huntington Disease Gene. I was sure they would find a cure before it got me, not knowing she had the JHD.. when she was a little girl from about 2 yrs. old at church she would go to the pulpit reach for the microphone and sing. The Devil is a sly O fox if I could catch him I’d put him in a box, I’d lock the box and throw away the keys for all the mean tricks he played on me. She also loved to sing I’ll fly Away. ( It Was Sang at Her Funeral) Her favorite color was Purple. She wouldn’t go anywhere if I didn’t put something purple on her even if it was nail polish or socks. She loved her pets so much. She would dress her cats and dogs and they would lay still and let her. She also had a turtle named Tilly. I Miss Her so much So Many Memories,Heaven has gained a Precious Angel I don’t know how I will ever live without her that is my Darling Daughter My Baby.
