Daniel Jr. Sainez
Daniel was born in April 25, 2012. His favorite color is blue. Daniel has been experiencing symptoms since the age of 5 such as insomnia and behavioral issues at home and school. At age 8 Daniel started drooling along with impulsive tics and odd behavior, He was then refered by a social worker from HDSA to a neurologist in our area. At the first visit with the neurologist Daniel was considered appropriate to test due to symptoms. Labs came back with a postive Juvenile Huntington diagnosis with a CAG repeat of 78. Daniel is a loving child, very affectionate and hugs are his favorite. He enjoys anything about animals, especially the marine and insects. He is a fearless boy who is always ready for the next adventure. He is obsessed with Minecraft and carries is ipod everywhere he goes. He enjoys to spend time on Minecraft building his own worlds, making rooms and bed for everyone imaginable. Daniel along many JHD children want to grow up and have a family of his own, always talks about “when I grow up.” As a family we patiently wait for a cure or possible treatment for out HD & JHD community.

My boy has his Make a wish granted and i have to admit that I have never seen him smile they way he smiled. By the evening Daniel said his cheeks hurt from so much smiling 
it was so magical all the love that was demonstrated for him. The support from every single individual involved with both Make-A-Wish Oregon & Genentech was above all expectations. I feel so grateful and my heart is full of joy. It’s going to be his area. Set up with TVs, games.
